Life Coaching

"Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

- Harold Whitman

Do you have a list of dreams and hopes for the future?

Is it in a drawer or a forgotten journal, collecting dust?

Some people never start their dreams.

What if it is hard? Expensive? Scary? Busy? A failure?

What if you're alone?

At some stage, everyone needs a helping hand.

Athletes have sport coaches to help them achieve physical results.

Business executives and CEO's have business coaches to achieve financial results.

And life coaches help people to live their best lives, and get "happiness" results.

Not enough people take this seriously, and statistics from the World Health Organisation on depression and anxiety around the world show that this is a fact. People are actually getting unhealthier and unhappier.

Life coaches are people who know how to get from A to B in life, can motivate and teach others, and have taken professional qualifications in coaching, and sometimes NLP or counselling.

But life coaches aren't focused on problems.

Like all coaches, they are focused on results.

Once you know where you want to go, plan how to get there, and resolve all the emotions & limiting beliefs holding you back, what can really stop you from finally becoming the You that you want to be?

Some of the ways a coach can work with you:

  • Designing a plan for your life, work, health and relationships

  • Finding your ideal career or work

  • Providing accountability

  • Teaching self-care

  • Improving your communication with family & coworkers

  • Getting out of your rut

  • Making important life transitions

  • Starting/growing a business

  • Living your perfect life

  • Identifying core values & passions

  • Resolving self-sabotage & blocks

  • Fulfilling emotional needs

  • Getting organized in life

  • Making more money (and enjoying it)

  • Improving your health, nutrition & wellness

  • Playing, having adventures, and a lot more fun!

According to Tony Robbins, "A coach helps you to grow by analyzing your current situation, identifying existing and potential challenges and obstacles you face and devising a custom plan of action designed to help you achieve specific outcomes in your life."

  • A 2014 study on underperforming trainees found that those who received life coaching had better communication skills, attitude, organisational skills, self-discipline, self-belief, and overall performance, when compared to trainees who received no coaching.
